Description: A Houston based consulting firm offering air, water, and waste regulatory compliance services has an opening for an Jr Environmental Sales Consultant. In this position you will use technical skills and analytical abilities to provide complete customer oriented air quality, permitting, and compliance solutions to assist clients in the areas of permitting and regulatory compliance. Salary and commission is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities:
-> Generate work from current clients and reactivating former clients -> Contact potential clients from email list and sell licenses and implementation of the company’s on-line compliance system -> Meet weekly and monthly sales activity standards -> Provide reports detailing customers contacted, outcome, and time spent on activities -> Deliver sales presentations to clients -> Assist with proposals and quotations for service -> Understand existing regulations and stay abreast with new and proposed regulations as they relate to industrial clients
Requirements:
-> Associates degree in Engineering or Business -> A minimum of 2 years sales experience -> Environmental, Manufacturing, and/or Safety Industry experience is a plus -> Excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills -> Basic programming, word processing, spreadsheet, and Microsoft Office software package experience
