Case Study > Stormwater Inspection
A beverage plant was facing an agency inspection and they had previously been dinged for failure to comply with applicable requirements. There was a short time line for getting all of their documents in order and for ensuring that all of their operations were in compliance with all applicable requirements so the company contacted ACS Engineering to conduct a walk through of the facility and then to put any missing or incomplete documentation in place. ACS personnel discovered that specific requirements associated with recordkeeping were missing, drains that could result in oil spills reaching navigable waters were not fully protected and particulate matter from cyclones and bag houses were likely to be deemed a storm water violation. The recommended changes were implemented and ACS assisted the site in filling all of the paperwork gaps. The site passed the inspection with no violations and ensured that ACS Engineering was a part of future inspections.
